Eva Jade Landon has been featured in several group art shows at Jones Gallery, and the Women in the Arts Exhibition at Paper Birch Landing, in Kansas City, Missouri. Landon’s photograph “Wooden Houses, Norway” won “Best of Show” in the 2018 Photography/Digital Art Competition with Contemporary Art Gallery Online. Her work has been featured in CAG’s online gallery, as well as Jones Cyber Gallery, an extension of Jones Gallery in Kansas City, at Frameography in Hutchinson, KS, and in Kansas City Voices vol. 15 from Whispering Prairie Press. From 2019-2020, she did solo exhibitions at One More Cup in Kansas City, St. Peters Cultural Arts Centre in St. Peters, Missouri, and Oxford Community Arts Center in Oxford, Ohio. Her work is scheduled to appear in Clifton Cultural Art Center’s Silver Lining outdoor art exhibit, opening on May 7, 2021.
Landon has completed graduate studies in both Religion and Art History. She believes art, and nature, is a window to the divine. The job of a photographer isn’t always to unveil something new and different; often it is simply to reveal what’s always been present – to remind us what we’ve forgotten to see.
